Following a major restructure of the Department of Health in early 2005, we undertook a detailed review of the entire Department's metropolitan accommodation (including the public teachings hospitals) and identified an accommodation strategy to consolidate the Department's operations on fewer sites and allow for the disposal of several older inefficient buildings.
